My primary focus in my practice is assisting taxpayers with tax debt resolution. I help my clients by eliminating tax debt when I can, or, arranging affordable tax debt repayment of actual tax liability. I find it extremely rewarding when I watch the relief overcome people during an initial consultation when they learn about their options and strategies available to manage tax debt. As Judge Learned Hand pointed out, "there is nothing sinister in so arranging affairs as to keep taxes as low as possible."

I have grown up in Maine attending Erskine Academy and UMaine Orono. I obtained my law degree in Connecticut (Uconn Law) and returned to practice near my home. Now that I have returned to Maine I have picked up my favorite hobbies: hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, visiting the local towns for those small hidden gem's like Eat More Cheese, Liberal Cup, Jess's Market, Perry's Nutshop (any many others), and spending time with family and friends.

Dan Benier has been practicing since 1993. He concentrates his practice on business law, wills, trusts, estates and real estate law.

Ross is a former prosecutor with extensive courtroom litigation experience. Ross has spent over 18 years in both Maine and Texas practicing as a criminal lawyer. Ross recently spent almost two years as an assistant district attorney in Kennebec/Somerset District Attorney's Office. During this time Ross was the prosecutor for sex crimes, domestic violence and arson for Somerset county. In addition, he shared prosecution duties for all other crimes in the county. Ross has extensive jury trial experience in cases ranging from murder, aggravated assault, kidnapping, sexual assault, robbery, burglary, DWI (OUI in Maine), drug trafficking, ...
